Saint Paul, Minnesota

These murals were created during the Minneapolis Uprising. The store owner said they were created by two teenaged black girls. He did not know the young women. He never got their names. He was boarding up his storefront to protect his store from the fires and looting, and the two girls approached him and asked if they could paint the plywood. He agreed, but, in the chaos of the uprising, he was never able to reconnect with those girls. Do you know who created this art? Did you create this art? I would like to know about it. If you would rather remain anonymous, that’s cool too.
